This picture book presents several chapters from a story of my own devising about a boy’s journey to different worlds.
A boy misses his childhood playmate very much but there's no sign of her since she has gone. So, he writes many letters and mails them to different places in his special hiding place.
However, he doesn't receive any letter in reply, so he decides to go into every mailing drawer and see what's happened there.
Then, he goes into a world with mechanical residents. No one can understand the language of humans. The boy wonders around, hoping to find someone who can help him.
Then he realizes that the letters he dropped in the drawer before might not be sent successfully. So finally, he finds a robot who helps him send out signals with light beams shooting out of his eyes to the remote place, and he hopes that this message can be seen by his playmate.
The boy enters the next world of deep water where no light can reach in or go out.
So he builds a giant instrument and uses it to send signals in the form of sounds.
The boy enters a forest where all the creatures and plants are made of paper.
At the end of the land, on a cliff by the sea, he finds a giant paper plane that can carry him away to continue his journey of finding his childhood playmate.
