Wenxu(Alice) Zhao

Is an Illustrator based in New York City.

Contact

She graduated from MFA Illustration as Visual Essay program at the School of Visual Arts in 2022.

She is interested in creating picture books. Applying her illustrations to various products is also her dream. Floral elements, animals, and all the other things in the natural environment are her favorite things to draw, so she loves traveling, photography, and painting on location. She also loves trying new drawing materials and exploring new ways to work.

She is an imaginative Pisces, and the theme of invention and fantasy is throughout all her works. Her work captures childlike innocence and also expresses her attitude and perspective as an adult about the world. Her goal is to express her emotions and thoughts while also bringing beauty and warmth to the rush and chaos of modern life.
